Hulk’s Blood Cocktail {green bloody Mary}

Inspired by the scrumptious Evolution Fresh Sweet Greens with Lemon Juice, Hulk, and a tried and true cocktail go-to: the Bloody Mary, “Hulk’s Blood” is amazing and sort of good for you… there’s green juice in there! (We’ll pretend that the alcohol doesn’t cancel out the nutritional value of this drink. lol.) Just be careful, don’t get Hulk SMASHED!

Hulk’s Blood Cocktail (makes 2 servings!)

what you need:

1 container Evolution Fresh cold pressed sweet greens and lemon juice (roughly 15 ounces)

4 oz vodka of choice (we used Covington’s Sweet Potato Vodka YUM!)

1 TBS lemon juice (add to taste since the green juice already has lemon in it)

1/2 TBS balsamic vinegar

2 tsp pickle juice

add the following TO TASTE:

1 tsp peperoncini juice

1/4 tsp wasabi

3 dashes Frank’s Red Hot Sauce

2 dashes hickory liquid smoke

1/8 tsp black pepper

1/8 tsp cayenne powder

1/8 tsp chipotle powder

For Garnish:

2 old bay seasoned and cooked shrimp

2 slices crispy bacon

2 red baby peppers

2 pickles

2 celery stalks

2 slices tomato

What to do:

  1. combine all ingredients in a shaker over ice.  Shake well.
  2. Rim the mason jars, or beverage vessel of choice, with salt and old bay.  Garnish with bacon, shrimp, veggies, etc!
  3. Enjoy! …& don’t get SMASHED! 🙂

You may be wondering why there’s no worchesteshire sauce in this recipe– I cut that out due to the sugar content and ingredient list of said sauce. SO, that’s why balsamic vinegar, wasabi, and hickory liquid smoke appear in the ingredient list. 🙂
